Tabling at mtl mini-comiccon 2024

December 2024 - last event of the year

2024 was probably my busiest year in terms of events and markets. I originally started tabling in conventions back in 2019 and I would sell fanarts and stickers. Since working on improving my art and finding my style, I’ve moved on to doing some original art and characters for apparel. Making original art also means you can more easily get into art markets with DIYers and crafters. I’ve done a total of 12 local events and it was most definitely my most profitable year.

This is my second time tabling at the Mtl Mini-Comiccon (holidays edition) and I wasn’t fully confident it would be worth all the work but it turned out great in the end. The holiday edition also takes place at Palais des Congrès in December, just before the holidays and admission is free. I wish I could get the number of attendees but the free admission plays a big role in the success of the event as attendees actually have money left to spend! $$$$ For this edition I restocked some of our 2024 summer collection cu-tees and pressed some Dreamy Cat Tree designs onto the softest lavender crewnecks. I am so happy about how well these were received and I sold out of most sizes. The Opus card stickers are always a crowds favorite and I love seeing you guys with your sparkly cards. This is probably the last year I make cup glasses as they did not perform as good as previous year and they are a pain to carry around. I guess the trend is done for.

I plan on making new designs for tshirts and tote bags and maybe extend to different products. I am still researching manufacturers and prices but something new is coming :D
